Is your wardrobe stuck in 2019?

Over the past three years lots has changed. Pre-pandemic, ’hybrid working’ , ‘Zoom dressing’ and ‘dressing for the day’ were terms we’d never heard of.

Back then, workwear was generally smart and we wore casual clothes, erm, casually. Today, the boundaries are a lot less clear, and it’s no wonder that many people are struggling to know what to wear.

I’m not one for following trends for trends sake, but fashion does evolve. So unless you’ve been continually following trends and buying clothes for events you haven’t been able to attend over the past two years, it’s likely your spring/summer wardrobe is full of 2019 styles.

To help you update it, ready for the (hopefully) lovely weather ahead, I have picked five key styles we were wearing back in 2019, and their 2022 updates.

Dresses

Trousers

Shirts and blouses

Jeans

Trainers
