Do your Spring outfits feel ‘past it’?
This is a term many of my clients use to describe their current style before we work together. It’s the feeling you get when you put on an outfit you used to love only to feel, at best, underwhelmed and, at worst, frumpy and grumpy!
If that sounds familiar then the good news is that you can take yourself from ‘past it’ to ‘with it’ very quickly.
How to go from ‘past it’ to ‘with it’.
Simply updating one seasonal item will work wonders to refresh your style and give your outfits a new lease of life. A seasonal item is one that you changeover when the season, well, changes. For example, a Winter coat for a lighter weight Spring jacket.
One Spring style that my clients have found so useful is a textured short jacket, also known as the ‘Chanel-style’ jacket. It’s a flattering style that always looks chic and polished and it also suits most body shapes. It’s a modern classic that never goes out of fashion and it works really well with the current wide leg trouser trend and jeans.
